On October 31, 2022, the epidemic prevention and control headquarters of Zhengzhou Airport and Port Region released a news that it has asked Foxconn to restore production and life order in an orderly manner. Jiyuan Factory of Foxconn Zhengzhou Science and Technology Park located in Huling Industrial Zone of Jiyuan City, Henan Province, as an affiliated park of Foxconn Zhengzhou Science and Technology Park, mainly produces computer, communication, mobile phone, consumer electronics and other components, mechanism parts and system software. Foxconn is the world s largest contract electronics manufacturer. In order to ensure production, Foxconn also adjusted the recruitment and salary of Apple-related production lines in 2022. According to Foxconn s internal recruitment platform, in July 2022, a maximum bonus of 10,000 yuan per person will be offered to employees at the Zhengzhou plant. Among them, the referral bonus is 500 yuan per person. Bonuses vary, ranging from 9,000 yuan to 9,500 yuan per person for key positions in manufacturing.
