Rosenberg Spy Case

FILE - In this April 26, 1956 file photo, David Greenglass, convicted atomic spy, sits beside Deputy U.S. Marshal Joseph Oreto during a Senate Internal Security on Capitol Hill in Washington. The subcommittee hearing is listening to testimony on the use of Americans for Soviet intelligence purposes. The federal government has unsealed new grand jury testimony in the sensational Cold War spying case of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. The couple was executed in 1953 after being convicted in New York of conspiring to give atomic secrets to the Soviets. The previously sealed testimony is from Greenglass, the brother of Ethel Rosenberg and the government’s star witness in the trial. (AP Photo/Henry Griffin)
