Fischer Spassky Chess Board Auction

FILE - In this July 4, 1972 file photo, the chess table and chairs that would be used the following month by Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky for their historic "Match of the Century," tournament are seen in the vast Laugardalsholl Hall in Reykjavik, Iceland. The chess board, made of stone, would eventually be replaced mid-championship with a wood board for games 7 through 21 at the insistance of Fischer, who won the world chess champion. The table, chairs and wood board are to be auctioned in New York City on Nov. 18 by Heritage Auctions, which has set an opening bid of $75,000. (AP Photo/Johann, File)
