Travel Log Point Pleasant 20100816

Visitors stroll through Point Pleasant Park in Halifax on Friday, August 13, 2010. The area was decimated in September 2003 when hurricane Juan made a direct hit, levelling 75 per cent of the park's trees. The park is an attraction to tourists and local residents even as it undergoes a slow and radical transformation.THE CANADIAN PRESS/Andrew Vaughan
