BOATING FATAL

RCMP Cpl. J.J. Van Tassel leans out a broken window aboard the pleasure vessel "Sun Boy" to photograph Washington State safety stickers attached to the vessel during an investigation in West Vancouver Monday Aug. 9, 1999. The 15-metre boat ran between and tugboat and a barge late Saturday night striking the towing cable. Five of fourteen on board were killed.(CP PHOTO/Chuck Stoody)
