QUE NATIVE BLOCKADE 20070313

A Quebec Provincial Police officer explains to a man that he will allow him and his passengers through the police line to join a protest on Monday, March 12, 2007. Protesters set up the roadblock in the early morning hours. about 250 kms north of Ottawa. The protesters say the Quebec government reneged on a verbal agreement that ended earlier protests. Provincial police said they were trying to negotiate an end to the protest and that there were no immediate plans to dismantle the blockade. (CP PHOTO/David Gonczol) CANADA
