PROUD PILOT

NWT Air Captain Larry Pinto flashes the thumb-up sign as he prepares to depart Yellowknife, N.W.T., Aug. 22, 1994. Pinto is flying the Queen and her husband Prince Philip to Rankin Inlet and Iqaluit in a Boeing 737 as the Royal aircraft is too big for the Rankin Inlet runway. The Royal couple are returning to the United Kingdom later in the day after a 10-day Canadian tour. (CP PHOTO/Andrew Vaughan)
