OBIT HEAD TAX SURVIVOR

FILE - Chinese head tax survivor Ralph Lung Kee Lee, wearing a patriotic Canadian baseball cap, looks on as Prime Minister Stephen signs an official apology for the tax at a ceremony in Ottawa on June 22, 2006. Lee passed away at his residence in Pickering, Ont., on March 15 at the age of 107. He was the oldest remaining member of the Chinese-Canadian community to have paid the controversial tax.
