OBIT-MP-DOMM

Progressive Conservative MP Bill Domm ponders outside the House of Commons after a vote to reinstate the death penalty was defeated, on June 29, 1987. Domm, an outspoken member of parliament for 14 years, died Saturday in a Toronto hospital. He was 69. He was known as somewhat of a maverick as he opposed his own government's positions on metric conversion and capital punishment. (CP PICTURE ARCHIVE - Ron Poling)
