US Open Five Biggest Upsets

FILE - Orville Moody, a career army sergeant and a 50-1 longshot, holds the U.S. Open Championship trophy in this June 16, 1969 file photo, after overtaking the other players to win the event. Moody was never really in the picture until the last day, when he trailed Miller Barber by three shots. Barber fell apart in the final round, however, closing with a 78. Sarge was steady and shot 72 to hold off Deane Beman (future PGA Tour commissioner) and a pair of PGA champions in Bob Rosburg and Al Geiberger. (AP photo)
