FULLER

FULLER DIES--Alfred Carl Fuller, founder of the Fuller Brush empire, died today at Hartford Hospital at age 88. Born in Nova Scotia, Fuller came to the U.S. at age 18 with $375 and started making brushes in the basement of his sister's Somerville, Mass. home, in 1906. Seven years later he founded the Fuller Brush Company in Hartford. (AP Wirephoto) 1973.
