After a hold-up of 12 hours, due to unfavourable weather, the 'Queen Elizabeth' moved from 101 berth in Southampton New Dock to the King George V Dry Dock for the next stage of her conversion from troopship to luxury passenger liner. The operation of moving the giant liner in to the dock, where she will remain for about two weeks, took nearly 90 minutes.
