DUBLIN BOMBED: MANY DEAD AND INJURED

BETWEEN THIRTY AND FORTY PERSONS WERE KILLED AND MANY MORE INJURED IN A BOMBING RAID ON DUBLIN MAY 30, 1941. DAMAGE WAS WIDESPREAD  DOZENS OF HOUSES AND MANY OTHER BUILDINGS WERE DEMOLISHED. INVESTIGATIONS PROVED THAT THE BOMBS DROPPED WERE OF GERMAN ORIGIN THE EIREANN GOVERNMENT PROTESTED TO BERLIN.
