August 27, 2023, New York, United States: People participate in an anti-migrant rally and protest outside Gracie Mansion in New York City. Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa was joined by local officials and hundreds of protestors, as he held another anti-migrant protest after staging several in Brooklyn and Queen against the migrant relief shelters in the boroughs. NYPD made several arrests, including Sliwa who was arrested for civil disobedience.
