FRANCE OBIT FREUND

Gisele Freund, the German-born photographer who captured France's Left Bank literary elite, gestures as she attends the opening of her exhibition in the Frankfurt Museum of Modern Art in this December 7, 1995, photo. Freund died at a Paris Hospital Friday March 31, 2000 at the age of 91 of a heart attack.
