CECROPIA MOTHS

Cecropia moths are coming out of their cocoons this time of year and are laying eggs in Rochester, Minn., on June 22, 2001. The adults die and the eggs grow into large green caterpillars with spikes on them. The caterpilllars which feed on deciduous trees, will form cocoons and emerge next June as moths.
