CLEVELAND ROWDY FANS

Game officials cover their heads and leave the field as debris thrown by fans rains down on them after the game between the Cleveland Browns and the Jacksonville Jaguars was called by the officials with 48 seconds left on the clock Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, in Cleveland. Browns fans threw bottles and other debris on the field, striking players and forcing them to run for cover after officials overturned a last-minute call. The game was stopped for about a half-hour because of the violence, sparked by an instant-replay call that helped the Jaguars win 15-10. (AP Photo/The Repository, Scott Heckel)
