GERMANY CYCLING ULLRICH DOPING

** FILE ** Former Tour de France champion Jan Ullrich, who was caught using amphetamines, is seen during a press conference in Frankfurt, central Germany, in this July 6, 2002 file photo, one day before the start of the Tour de France. According to German TV reports on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, citing a public prosecutor investigating the doping allegations against Ullrich, the DNA of Jan Ullrich matches "without any doubt" with the DNA of blood, that has been found in the "Operation Puerto" investigation into doping in cycling. The investigation implicated more than 50 cyclists and led to pre-race favorites Jan Ullrich and Ivan Basso and seven others riders being excluded from last year's Tour de France.
