OBIT KARSH

Turkish-born photographer Yousuf Karsh stands in front of his portraits of U.S. President Bill Clinton and first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton at his exhibition featuring 68 works at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. in this March 25, 1994 photo. Karsh, who gained international prominence with his 1941 portrait of a defiant Winston Churchill, died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was 93.
