OBIT DILLON

C. Douglas Dillon is shown in an April, 1959 photo in his office in Washington, after President Eisenhower named him Under Secretary of State. Dillon, a Wall Street investment banker and diplomat who served as secretary of the treasury in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations, has died. He was 93. Dillon died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003 at New York Presbyterian-Cornell Medical Center, where he had been hospitalized for several weeks with severe infection.(AP Photo/File)
