Baltimores Long Vigil

In this Oct. 21, 2015 picture, gatherers listen as Tawanda Jones, not pictured, leads a vigil for her brother, Tyrone West, outside of Baltimore City Hall. West died under murky circumstances in July 2013 after an encounter with Baltimore police. Since Jone began her weekly vigils, the issue of race and police abuse exploded onto the national agenda with the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and other arrests. Jones is rarely alone anymore. (AP Photo/Patrick Semansky)
