Officials say one-third of all structures in the Alberta townsite of Jasper have been destroyed by wildfire. Richard Ireland, the mayor of the municipality of Jasper, says his home was one of many that burned to the ground after thousands of residents and tourists evacuated the area. (July 27, 2024)
