ITALY BANK BOMBING

An unidentified policeman stands by the hole and debris caused by a bomb explosion at Milan's Banca dell' Agricoltura in this 1969 photo. Italy's highest criminal court on Tuesday, May 3, 2005, upheld the acquittals of Delfo Zorzi, Carlo Maria Maggi and Giancarlo Rognoni accused in the 1969 bombing. The defendants, Zorzi, Maggi and Rognoni, former members of the neo-fascist group Ordine Nuovo, were originally sentenced to life in prison but were acquitted on appeal by a court in Milan last year.
