The 56-year-old finds himself in the middle of a bizarre double-murder case in Newfoundland, seven years after he was acquitted of a child slaying that continues to haunt British Columbia. Three weeks ago, police charged his former friend with murder in the fatal shootings of Dale Worthman and Kimberley Lockyer.
