(CPT107-June 9)--Pierre Trudeau had an unexpected visitor on June 29, 1984, his last day in Parliament. Veteran NDP member Stanley Knowles walked across the floor and sat beside the Prime Minister to share a few moments before Trudeau left. Knowles died nine days short of his 89th birthday.
