BC-OBIT-BOURGAULT TOPIX

Pierre Bourgault, former advisory to Premier Jacques Parizeau, speaks to a group of sovereigntists at a Bloc Quebecois meeting in Quebec City on Sunday, Feb. 26, 1995. Bourgault, whose lifelong fight for Quebec independence included a stint as head of a hardline party that eventually blended into the Parti Quebecois in the 1960s, died Monday, June 16, 2003.
