DAVIS INLET

Residents race all-terrain vehicles along the runway at the airstrip in Davis Inlet, Nfld. on Monday Sept. 5, 1994. Oil drums, lumber, and assorted equiptment has been placed on the runway in protest after Justice Minister Ed Roberts ordered the RCMP to guard a provincial circuit judge who is expected to arrive in the remote Labrador community this week.
