Newsroom Ready: House of Commons honours veterans ahead of Remembrance Day

Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole says Canadians can mark Remembrance Day this year by holding veterans in their prayers or by simply wearing poppies — even if no one else can see them. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau noted how many Canadians have been supporting veterans throughout the pandemic. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh highlighted the military members who helped out in long-term care homes overwhelmed by COVID-19.
