Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller says the death of Joyce Echequan in a Quebec hospital after staff subjected her to anti-Indigenous slurs is shocking but evidence of an old problem. He's called a meeting Friday to hear from Indigenous people about their experiences and ideas on what to do, and says the federal government's billions of dollars in health funding give it a lot of leverage.
