    Ontario NDP brings issue of hydro bills back to election campaign trail

    Ontario's NDP is promised to lower hydro bills on the campaign trail, reigniting the hot topic of 2018's election. NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says she would offer grants and interest-free financing for energy efficient upgrades to people's homes, while Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca promised a clean energy transition without sending bills soaring, and Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford touted lower industrial rates to help spur the economy.
