Newsroom Ready: New university campus named after late B.C. premier John Horgan

Ellie Horgan chokes back tears as Royal Road University names its new campus in Langford, B.C. after her late husband John Horgan, who served as B.C.’s premier for more than five years before becoming Canada’s ambassador to Germany. Horgan died last year of cancer at the age of 65. (May 23, 2025)
