Jasper residents feeling hopeful and anxious heading into 2025

Jasper, Alta. residents and officials are feeling hopeful, but anxious, as the community heads into 2025 after a wildfire destroyed one-third of the town this past summer. The rebuilding process is just getting underway, and with debris still being removed and a massive provincial government housing project expected to be complete before spring, the community is expecting significant changes over the next year.
