Manitoba Tories apologize for refusing to search landfill for remains of slain First Nations women

Manitoba's Progressive Conservatives have apologized to the families of two slain First Nations women after refusing to search a landfill for their remains and later touting that decision in a 2023 election campaign advertisement. The apology follows the discovery of potential human remains at the Prairie Green landfill, where a search was launched after the New Democrats won the election.
