For the past month, a grey whale known as Little Patch has been mesmerizing onlookers and sparking a sense of connection as it feeds in Metro Vancouver waters. Jessica Scott, senior manager of the Ocean Wise whales initiative, said Little Patch reminds people of the city's impact on whales’ habitat that spans busy shipping routes. (May 9, 2025)
