B.C.'s Filipino community reeling after deadly festival attack
The Filipino community is gathering at a church in Vancouver on Sunday morning to honour and support festival victims as shock and grief ripped through the community after Saturday’s SUV attack that killed 11. Hip-hop artist Jacob Bureros performed at the block party Saturday, and he saw the vehicle had run into the crowd, prompting him and other bystanders to chase down the suspect. (April 27, 2025)
