The General Motors CAMI Assembly Plant that produces electric vans in Ingersoll, Ont., has idled production for a few months due to slowing demand, in a move the union says has cost hundreds of jobs. Workers say they were full of hope when production began in 2022, but just a few years later amid a trade war with the U.S., their futures feel uncertain. (June 19, 2025)
