Canada has pledged nearly $53 million to deal with economic crisis in Venezuela and its neighbours, at an Ottawa conference pushing for regime change there. They blame President Nicolas Maduro’s socialist government, under which three million Venezuelans have fled or been displaced, and say the country’s legitimate new president is parliamentary leader Juan Guaido.
