Second trial begins for Alberta couple in meningitis death of toddler son

A new trial has begun in Lethbridge, Alta. for a couple charged in the 2012 meningitis death of their toddler son. The new trial was ordered for David and Collet Stephan by the Supreme Court last year. The couple is accused of using alternative therapies to treat their son Ezekiel and not calling for medical assistance until he stopped breathing. The trial is scheduled to last a month.
