Pro-pipeline protesters demonstrate while Natural Resources Minister makes Calgary announcement

Pro-pipeline protesters chanted outside a downtown Calgary office tower today while Natural Resources Minister Amarjeet Sohi made an announcement promoting clean energy. The protest, by the group Canada Action, attracted people who were chanting "build that pipe" and carrying signs calling for the government to kill Bill C-69. Sohi told reporters the government is working toward getting the Trans Mountain Pipeline built and Albertans need to be patient. He rejected the possibility of speaking to the protesters to tell them in person.
