Quebecers to receive a one-time payment of $500 to offset inflation

Quebec finance minister Eric Girard says all adults making up to $100,000 will receive a one-time payment of $500 to offset rising inflation. The measure is included in the province's 2022-2023 budget, which comes six months before a provincial election.
