The American Radiation-proof mobile robot 'Pioneer' shows its technical possibilities at the presentation in front of the installation 'Ukrytie' 'Sarcophagus' over the destroyed the 4th Unit of Chernobyl APS on May 27, 1999. It is planned, that the robot, whose elaboration have cost $2 millions to USA Ministry of Power Engineering and NASA, will be used inside the 'sarcophagus'.
