A helicopter strews sand over the fourth power-generating unit of Chernobyl atomic power-station ruined by the disaster at the end of April 1986. On April 26, 2005, Ukraine will commemorae the 19th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. 167 653 people, including 2929 liquidators, died of radiation sickness. 83% of people suffered from this disaster ( 92% of those involved in liquidation) are in poor health.
