Keep safe from COVID-19 if joining protests: Hajdu

Health Minister Patty Hajdu says gathering together is a powerful way to express support and concern but urged people to practice physical distancing, bring hand sanitizer and wear a mask if they join protests in the street. Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada’s chief public health officer, says shouting can increase the projection of droplets, so she encourages people to get their message across through signs or making noise in other ways.
