Ford backtracks on systemic racism remarks

Days after initially saying Canada doesn't have the "systemic, deep roots'' of racism that the United States does, Premier Doug Ford further backtracked from the statement Thursday, acknowledging a history of racism in Ontario that stretches back decades. Ford acknowledged the pain of minority communities and said the province must work to address racism.
