Newsroom Ready: Grieving mother wants justice for her daughter, Chantel Moore

Chantel Moore’s mother struggled to hold back tears at a healing ceremony at the B.C. legislature Thursday. Martha Martin says her daughter had big dreams who wanted to be an engineer and live in New York City. But the 26-year-old mother was fatally shot by police in Edmunston, N.B., who were called to Moore’s home to check on her well-being.
