Alberta premier Jason Kenney shakes hands with Adriana LaGrange, Minister of Education after being is sworn into office, in Edmonton on Tuesday April 30, 2019. Alberta's education minister says students in the province will see a new curriculum that includes a focus on literacy, numeracy and Canadian history. Adriana LaGrange has signed a ministerial order for the finalizing of a new curriculum which will be implemented in phases and be fully in place by the 2022-2023 school year.
