Newsroom Ready: B.C. announces three new novel coronavirus cases Tuesday evening, 12 cases tota

Just hours after confirming British Columbia's ninth novel coronavirus case at a news conference in Vancouver, a second news conference was called in Victoria to confirm three more cases, a man and two women. The three new cases have links to travel to Iran, says Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, with two people travelling to Iran and one woman contracting the virus in B.C. following close contact with a person diagnosed with novel coronavirus after travelling to Iran. Health Minister Adrian Dix says B.C.'s first five cases all involved people who had travelled to China, but the most recent seven cases are all linked to Iran.
