Woman's cancer worse after delayed surgery in Alberta

A woman whose surgery in Alberta for a rare cancer in her face was delayed due to overburdened hospitals during COVID-19 pandemic says the outcome of the wait has been extensive. Sharon Durham of Wynyard, Sask., says she would not have lost her entire nose if her surgery had been done sooner. She will have to wear a prosthetic one for the rest of her life.
