Manitoba's new, temporary premier says he is putting a halt to the government's agenda

Manitoba's new premier, Kelvin Goertzen, was sworn in Wednesday after being chosen as interim leader of the governing Tories. Goertzen will serve until a party leadership vote Oct. 30, and says he is planning to kill five contentious bills now before the legislature so that the next leader can start with a clean slate.
