Police activity outside the house in Upper Cheyne Row in Chelsea, South West London, where detectives are investigating the murder of a wealthy City bond dealer. Police said John Monckton and his wife Homeyra were stabbed and seriously injured when two men forced their way into their home. Mr Monckton died later in hospital and his wife has undergone 'significant' surgery.
